Workshop: Basic Shibori Techniques & Creative Story Writing   Sat, November 1  10:30 AM - 4 PM

In this hands-on workshop we will sketch, stitch, write, dye and story tell while creating a silk scarf that will become an integral part of your accessory wardrobe.

Together we will examine the joy of designing imaginative scarves using hand stitching techniques (nui shibori) taught by Mary while Lisa simultaneously will creatively coach us how to write about the experience and tell the story behind the design and process.

Mary and Lisa will team teach this fun and enriching workshop that bridges and expands hand-eye coordination, bursting creative blocks and getting you into an energetic flow.

Join us for this making session to learn multiple basic shibori stitching techniques and how to write the story about the experience, ideas and thought processes to create a silk scroll-like scarf.

All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary!
