The UNFOLDING PROJECT: WHISPERING TEXTILES is a series of silk scarves that capture a moment of the dyeing process.
FLORENCE is one of the original cotton FLORENCE SHIRTDRESSES photographed using my iphone as it was being unwrapped after dyeing. The six inch square image was expanded into a supergraphic 53" x 53" and printed on 100% silk chiffon.
The borders of the scarf are hand-rolled and stitched (the one in the photo has fringed edges and is no longer available).
The neutral tone black and taupe scarf is seasonless.
Wear it with my bespoke LOUISE JACKET (cotton knit matelasse', oversized fit).
