Workshop: Basic Shibori Techniques & Creative Storytelling Writing Sat, October 18 10:30 AM - 4 PM
In this hands-on workshop, we will examine the joy of creating imaginative scarves. and earrings by juxtaposing textile remnants and beads originating from Hatsumi Yoshida’s collection Suna. The embellishments are made in Bali, Indonesia.
Mary and Lisa will team teach this fun and enriching workshop.
All ages welcome! Join us for this making session and learn basic shibori stitching techniques and how to write the story about the experience, ideas and thought process use in creating a silk scroll-like scarf.
