Blue Threads Cotton Bandana
While I was hand stitching the resist-dye pattern on a cotton knit jersey tunic, I began to pull the threads and shir the fabric. Then I photographed the work in process capturing soft undulating textile waves of shadows and lines created by the blue threads on white.
The lyrical lines of this design are seasonless. One can always use a practical cotton bandana on a hot day to absorb sweat and likewise, on a cold day to protect their neck from chills. I always have one in my backpack.
Hand or machine wash with a mild, eco-friendly soap, squeeze excess water and hang to dry. Iron as desired. The cotton gets softer and softer with use.
